Duty pertains not only to the jobs the team may be appointed to but also overall neatness and cleanliness of selves and cabins as well as being timely for events. Campers should voluntarily tackle any task they see needing to be done. How quickly, well and happily all jobs required or otherwise are done is a sign of the teams' duty.
Spirit pertains to the overall atmosphere that the team creates. It should be one of enthusiasm for everything, a desire to please, determination to overcome any obstacles while maintaining charity of course. Spirit does not always show itself loudly, but it never does unnoticed and is certainly never found without a ready smile and kind greeting for all.
Charity speaks for itself but is one of the hardest to measure since it is most often done without any desire to attract notice or attention. The considerate listener though is a good hint as well as the one who makes friends with the shy and reserved campers. The charitable camper is the one who is there not just to enjoy the camp herself but to ensure that the others enjoy it as well.
Sportsmanship pertains to engagement in games but also to being a good sport in every area, always ready to get back up and shake the opponent’s hand or partake in an activity you are not personally fond of. Being a good sport means making each activity as enjoyable for those involved as you can.

Fern: Represents confidence and a joy in living, a virtue to combat the depression and despair so prevalent in our world.
Torch: The light in the darkness; the shining example; an image of the truth that must be kept alive to fight the many immoralities of our day
Fleur de lis: An image of a lily, the symbol of purity; known to represent royalty so that our girls may ever reflect their dignity as women and children of God.
- Our Lady crowns the emblem as our queen and model.
- The roses represent our offerings to her.
- The motto is that of Venerable Teresita Quevedo which should become our own.
Blue: Loyalty and truth
Maroon: perseverance in battle and victorious in the end
Gold: Rare and precious
